United Way

How You can Help

United Way Contributions:

Please consider directing all or a portion of your contribution to Lebanon CT Little League – see Flyer attached:

Hartford United Way (including Windham) Designation Code: AG 8094

Southeastern Connecticut United Way Designation Code: 3526

Please contact us if your employer’s United Way affiliate does not list Lebanon CT Little League. We’ll fix that quickly.

Who do you know:

We have contacted many of the local businesses requesting their help. As you know, however, these few businesses are constantly contacted by Lebanon fundraisers in addressing the needs of our community. The generosity of local businesses can only accomplish so much. It is time to reach beyond our borders and to seek monetary assistance from our state’s largest employers. Many of these large employers, in addition to matching United Way contributions as above, also have programs to reward their employees who donate their time to a non-profit cause – like Lebanon CT Little League (LCLL). For example, the Aetna makes a $300.00 per volunteer donation.

Do you or other parents on your team volunteer your time to LCLL. Do you work at a large corporation? Maybe they have a similar program. Please check it out.

Also, do you know any entities that might wish to donate to our new fields initiative? We are looking for leads and assistance regarding any such entities, for example anyone who loves baseball/softball, anyone who supports youth sports, anyone who supports greater opportunities for our female players (who are currently without a dedicated or regulation field).

We have spent countless hours in pursuit of funding. We need your fresh ideas, enthusiasm and assistance for the benefit of our children and town.

Feel free to contact our League President Jamie Bender ( jamiebenz@charter.net) , or our New Fields Coordinator Jeff Walsh ( jtwesqsox8@yahoo.com), with ideas, opportunities and questions. Please also visit our website: http://www.lebanonctlittleleague.com/ for more information about the league or, please attend our monthly meetings - held on the second Monday of every month at 7pm (7:30 in season - April, May and June), downstairs at the Town Hall.
